San Jose Wedding Photographer - Redwood retreat at Fernwood Cellars

We have been receiving lots of rain since the beginning of 2017 here in California. On 1/14/17, we were lucky to have some sun and greenery for this photo shoot. Our host Jen had a vision of having all things green, so from the bride's flower crown, to her bouquet, the wedding stationary, the head table and the wedding cake were all green!

As I am sitting here and writing how green this photo shoot was, it somehow does not sound pretty, this is really something you need photos to help you understand! So here we go with the photos:

I love what Violet Prather from the makeup dolls done with the bride's makeup. Her soft lips and earthy-toned eyes were a perfect contrast with her greenery flower crown and bouquet.

Our talented florist Sara Dubon from Dubon floral design created this beautiful greenery bouquet that I wish I can take it home with me. Just love how there was a touch of pink in the bouquet, with a nice finish of the pink ribbons.

Kelly from Kelly Design Co.'s wedding stationary was a perfect match for this shoot. I love the green she used as a base, the type and the color of the font gave the stationary a very clean and fresh look. We took some loose leaves on the ground and added to the stationary to get a nice finished look for the photos.

The redwood retreat at the Fernwood Cellars is a gorgeous place for an outdoor wedding. The ceremony area has seats for guests made by redwoods! There is a nice little creek, with the rain we've been getting, we got a nice amount of water going down the stream, creating a nice background melody with the nature.

This nice wooden sign is made by a local Gilroy poet.

How amazing was our cake! Made by Rachel by Bay Cake Design. It was great to finally meet Rachel in person, as we collaborated on different shoots before, but I haven't had the chance to meet her until this day. I love the detail she added to the cake, those gold leaves!!

Our linen from The Linen Bar was something that we couldn't go without for this photo shoot, it definitely added elegancy to our head table.

Our beautiful bride with the wedding dress from Epiphany Boutique. They offer 10 bridal collections, as well as bridesmaid's dress and accessories. I especially love their Ti Adora collections!

Thanks to all the wonderful vendors that made this photoshoot possible! I had so much fun, and hopefully this will hope our 2017 south bay brides with inspirations or selecting vendors!
