San Jose wedding photographer - Spring garden inspired photoshoot
I can't believe how much rain we are receiving here in California! Although it is good to fix the drought situation that's been around for several years, I have to say "I miss the sunshine!" I can't wait for the sun to come out again so I can create more beautiful images with talented wedding vendors.
I am here to share today a photoshoot we did in the sunshine Vasona park. This shoot was featured on cake and lace on February 9th!
First, let's talk about our newlywed Jenny and Brian, they were such naturals when it comes be being in front of the camera! Being married in less than 6 months, this was the perfect opportunity for post-wedding photos. I was so glad they were up to do this shoot.
I highly encourage newlyweds to do a post-wedding session. It is a great idea because post-wedding session lets you leave the stress behind and just fully appreciate this great person in front of you whom you now call husband or wife. Just imagine the chemistry we'll get out of that! Just take a look at these two!
We love the wild, garden style bouquet created by Sara from Dubon Floral, I had a vision of something purple and she definitely made that come true and went beyond.
The beautiful invitation suite is hand-panted by Julia from Julia Hirsch Illustration and design. Not only did she hand painted the leaf pattern, the touch of gold hand lettering was an absolute must for the elegance we were looking to bring to this shoot.
The delicious looking cake is by Ma Petite Maison Cake Design, Negar designed a two-tier cake with lilac color on the top tier and the bottom with white. We decorated the cake with loose flower from the bouquet, and it look great! The delicious looking cake is on the cake stand provided by Julia from Julia Chan Cake Stand Rental in milky white.
Jenny's makeup was done by the talented Keziah from beauty by Keziah. If you are looking for a natural and elegant look, make sure to try earthy tone makeup and a loose lower bun!
Big thanks to Adriana from beloved Event and Design, who did an awesome job coordinating vendors and location of the shoot, the best part was she also designing the set the beautiful set. I couldn't ask for a better event planner/designer!
