San Jose Wedding Photographer - Ardenwood Historic Farm

I had the pleasure to work with a team of talented vendors at the Ardenwood Historic Farm in Fremont, California just before the spring season started.  My good friend Jessica Shortt, who is also a great photographer had the vision of a romantic elopement in a barn setting, and we were so lucky Ardenwood Historic Farm opened their arms to us for this shoot.  It was the perfect venue for what we had prepared for this shoot.

Our table settings were from The Viewpoint Events.  Our planner/designer The Blubook Events did an awesome job designing the table sets for us, we include the table runner from Party Crush Studio for a soft look.  The gold metal sweetheart table and cake table added the modernness we are looking for.  The chandelier with 8 lights, accented with acrylic gems was definitely what made this shoot looking classy.

Our shoot was center off colors of Niagara blue, blush and a touch of gold.  Our main goal was to add a modern touch to this historic farm, so we added geometric shape candle holders and a geometric ring box from Euris Glass , also an absolutely gorgeous emerald shaped diamond ring from Susie Saltzman in this shoot to achieve the look we are looking for.

Our beautiful marble-pattern inspired cake from Just Bakecause was to match the watercolor hand-lettering stationaries from Julia Hirsch Illustration and design.  Both the cake and the stationaries color was based on our theme color, Niagara blue, pink and gold.  Julia also created the stationaries in geometric shape to match our ring box and candle holder, which I thought was very creative of her!

The favorite box from Bliss and Bale is the perfect idea for brides who are thinking about showering their bridesmaids with gifts for appreciation of planning the wedding with her.

We wanted to complete this modern/classic barn setting photo shoot with the couple in a classic bride and groom attires, which are a black suit with a bow tie and a white wedding dress.

A wild flower bouquet and boutonniere from Linny's Floral Design was added to match the nature environment setting that we were in.  Our bride's look is also reflecting the natural element we wanted, Bun Bun Bridal Lab gave the bride a natural look by using all earthy tone makeup and finished off the bride's hair with a soft braid.

The white building in the photo is a famous historic museum in Fremont California, it was the perfect background for our classic bride and groom.  The bride and groom were a real couple, so it was easy to photograph the love they have for each other.

Now enjoy the photos!  Make sure you scroll to the bottom for a special message!!
