Beauty and the Beast Inspired Baroque Shoot - San Francisco Napa Valley Wedding Photographer
Our photo shoot in the beautiful Triple S Ranch is ready to share!! Our makeup artist Felicia Chang from Bun Bun Bridal Lab came to me with a vision of creating a beautiful shoot that has a lot of baroque elements. I thought the baroque elements were so "Beauty and the Beast"!! Keep reading and look at the photos to see what I'm talking about!
We were very lucky to have Naseem from Naseem Events on board to help us with the planning and the aesthetic side of this photo shoot. The color was narrowed down to peach, ivory, greenery with touches of gold.
Triple S Ranch Napa is a beautiful Calistoga boutique resort. We were so excited to hold our photo shoot at this venue. Surrounded by mature walnut trees and different style cottages that range from the 1920’s to the 1950’s, this 12 acres of land is full of surprises. It has been a family resort since 1958, welcoming guest to horseback ride, swim, eat, or just to simply relax. And of course, it is the perfect venue to have your wedding.
Our beautiful bride model Marina's make up was by Felicia from Bun Bun Bridal Lab is inspired by the glitter, sparkle, and Shine. A twinkling rosy metallic shadow to catch the light, which showed beautifully in photos. She also used a rose-gold shadow across her lids for a subtle glamor look. Marina's hair was vintage inspired with effortless loose curls for the romantic look that we are going for.
Our groom model Alberto is a star on Instagram and Youtube. He is passionate about fitness, originally from Vienna, now living in San Francisco chasing his dreams! Keegan, the owner of Petal Atelier provided the shoot with the beautiful florals, from the bride's bouquet to the center piece. Mainly focused on peachy tones, they were a great combination with the other accessories Naseem picked out.
One thing that I was so in love with was a vintage scale Naseem picked out from Lost and Found Vintage Rentals. Naseem said the scale is a symbol of a couple's love outweighing anything that life might throw at them. She decorated the scale with rice to symbolize prosperity in weddings from the beginning of time.
Every time I see Susie's beautiful ring on the Instagram post, I couldn't help but look at it longer than I look at any other photos. It was such a treat for me to finally photograph her beautiful ring design. Susie from Susie Saltzman helps couples from all over the world custom fine jewelry. The ring box was provided by the Secret Keeper Box, it is completely handmade, suede material.
Venus from La Vie Douce Design's wedding cake and desserts were top notch. The three-tiered wedding cake was carefully sculptured with the most delicate details and put on a victorian looking cake stand.
The elegant wedding stationary designed by Shasta Bell from Shasta Bell Calligraphy made on Arpa paper which gave a real unique texture. Arpa paper is beautiful handmade sheets of paper with a natural, subtle deckle on the edges. The blush silk ribbon is also made by Shasta, it was a great addition to this stationary set.
Silk textured linen from the Linen Bar. There were two different materials to add nice textures. A table design will not be complete without these beautiful linens.
Our dress!! Designed by the one and only Judy from Julee Chic. It is vintage meets modern with one of my favorite wedding dress material, LACE!
Lastly, our videographer Carisma from Carisma Films created a 4 minute video for us, please check it out here: https://vimeo.com/203493671
