Joice and Ken’s wedding was absolutely beautiful!  They are both wine lovers so it made perfect sense to hold their wedding at a gorgeous winery.  I was very impressed with Joice’s planning skills.  Joice and Ken both live on the east coast, but she did an awesome job planning this destination wedding all the way across the country.

The beautiful day started with both Joice and Ken dressed in traditional Chinese outfits, where they served tea to parents and elders on both sides.  Joice mentioned being just before the wedding, that both Ken and herself are really close to their family.  Throughout the day, I could see this in how they interacted with each other.  I remember getting emotional when I saw how close they were with everybody.

Keller winery estate was absolutely gorgeous!  I was able to capture some formal photos of the bride and groom after the ceremony, but as a special bonus, for a short window, we were lucky enough to grab some amazing shots as the sun set over the estate.

I asked Joice for advice to share with future couples.  Her response was both simple and insightful: "Always be available for your loved ones.  Love your family and friends as much as you love your spouse."

Joice mentioned several times how much she wished her dear grandfather could her new family on this special day.  Somehow, I know he was watching from above, smiling throughout her special day.
