Vicky and Patrick’s wedding was long overdue! The last time I saw them was at their engagement session in 2019 and then at their virtual civil ceremony over Zoom. They had to reschedule the big celebration twice due to the pandemic and I’m so happy to finally be able to photograph their big day.

We started the day at the Hyatt San Francisco, where they were getting ready. It was a gorgeous day with a clear view of the city. The ceremony was scheduled at the San Francisco City Hall and it couldn’t be more perfect! This has to be the biggest wedding party I ever photographed, we had 8 bridesmaids and 8 groomsmen, and I think the group looked so well with the city hall architecture.

The reception dinner was at the Bridges in San Ramon, I love they had a sign that said “we waited 2 extra years for this. Party Accordingly.” The group was definitely ready to party from the start of the reception! The most memorable moment has to be the father-daughter dance, which started with Vicky and her father slow dancing, and just as guests were about to tear up, the music suddenly changed. You can see Vicky’s dad taking off his jacket and they were ready to dance to “ Gangnam Style”! And then it was another surprise after the surprise when Vicky’s mom and Patrick join this choreographed dance.

I have to say the guests definitely had so much fun, and so did we. Congratulations to Vicky and Patrick and thank you so much for having us captured your special day.
