Taipei Taiwan Engagement Session - Kelly + Fred Engagement session in Taipei
I took a long trip to Taipei at the end of October to attend my good friend Kelly's wedding. I've known her since we were in elementary school! It was such an honor to capture moments for her engagement photos.
We started the session at Shih Chien University (實踐大學), we thought her red retro dress went well with the modern stylish building in the university. Taipei's weather is very unpredictable, it started to rain during the photo session. We had to stop for a moment and wait for the rain to stop to continue shooting. Luckily our wonderful makeup artist Jolly was with us through out the photoshoot to touch up for Kelly and Fred.
We ended the session with Kelly's lovely white medi dress at the Meti riverside park (美堤河濱公園). It was just before sunset, we were able to capture a bit of golden lights from the sun although it rain just an hour before.
This photo session meant so much to me, because the person I'm photographing is my very good friend that I've known for over 20 years, and the location is in my hometown Taipei. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to do this while visiting my hometown. I have to say I do look forward for more of this type of opportunities to come in the future, because I just love to be in Taipei!
