Ferry Building Family Session - Pui San + Lamar
Once in a life time I was a cabin crew working for Cathay Pacific. Those were the fun days where I got to travel to places, and it is one of the reason why I still love to travel up to this day. Pui San was one of my co-worker, she has also left the company many years ago. Years gone by after our cabin crew days, she is now a mommy of two energetic boys. I'm so glad she contacted me for their family session, it was so great meeting her husband Lamar and her boys. I'm so happy after all these years we were still able to reconnect!
Jaxon and Xander are like typical 4 and 2 year old, they were super energetic. I took some shots of them playing, running around and then went for the more traditional family portrait. The session ended at a bookstore inside of the ferry building, they had fun picking their favorite books and stickers.
I find the best approach with kids is let them be themselves, but that means me as a photographer need to act fast to catch those moments! Although I always feel so exhausted after chasing kids around, it feels very rewarding when I'm able to capture their genuine smiles.
I hope you enjoy these photos! I still got more dates open for family sessions, please feel free to contact me about openings and pricing :)
