It was such a great day to finally meet up with Yvonne and Kevin for their engagement session. I had scheduled the session in March, but because of the weather, we had to postpone it till June.

On the day of their session, they brought their dog Kona and lover's lane couldn't have been a better location for the shoot. Like most of my couples, Yvonne and Kevin weren't professional models, I always tell them the first 20 minutes in front of the camera is going to feel weird. After all, in your day to day lives, you don't stare into each other's eyes or always doing nose touches. But after we passed that first 20 minutes, you are going to have fun. I always relax the couples by giving them fun activities to do, such as holding hands and walking towards me, dancing, twirling, swaying, etc. I can tell Yvonne, and Kevin had fun when towards the end of the session, after a few "pick her up" shots, Kevin suggested doing a few more of those and even make a few turns to make Yvonne laugh.

2019 is halfway through, and I can't wait for their wedding in September!
